I'm trying to upgrade my MICS 7.1 system with an older analog line card (NT7875GB) to one that supports caller id (NT7B75AAAC).
I swapped the cards thinking it should just be a seamless upgrade and that the MICS should pick up the new card type upon re-booting. This didn't seem to work. The telephone displays 'Not in service' when I now try to select any of the lines 1-4.
I looked at the hardware settings via the 'Hardware ==>Cd1-KSU:', but 'Loop' seems to be the appropriate setting here.
Does anyone know the basic steps in swapping these cards and activating the CLID.
PS: I know how to activate CLID on the telephone, and the information is being sent by the Telco.
