MICS 7.0 system speed dial

I have a MICS with 7.0 that I just started up and began programming. I was inputting system speed dials and was testing them when I noticed they were not working right. When I press Feature 0 + 106 ( location of the speed dial) the phone picks up the intercom channel and shows the full number in the display but does not dial it. I have programmed system speed dial 106 with xxx-xxxx, chosen line pool A for the outdial path. The extension has access to the line pool which contains all the lines onthe system. None of the lines are busy during the test but the call still tried to go out on the intercom channel.
any ideas

Have you tried entering a 9 or whatever number that you have setup as the line pool code in your speed dial dialing string?

yes, tried that. THe phone I am testing this from has Intercom as Prime Line but the System speed dial is set to use Pool A which uses 9 as the access code

I found the problem. I had mistakenly programmed lines 033 and 034 as part of the line pool that all the other lines were in and the system was waiting for dialtone. I changes the poll status for the 033 and 034 lines the system speed dial wokred fine. Problem solved.
