IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE NAM MODEL 8 VERSION 4.04C ON A MICS 6.0XC WITHOUT HAVING TO UPGRADE THE VOICEMAIL SOFTWARE TO 4.04E OR I HEAR 4.1 IS OUT NOW!!

The NAM 4.04C will work with the MICS 6.0 XC. The only problem I have heard of is when there's a PRI in the MICS. The NAM tends to drop calls during outbound transfers from a mailbox. Also the advanced features of CAA (Centralized Auto Attendant)and CVM (Centeralized voicemail) are not possbile without NAM 4.1 software.

Yes, the 4.1 is out. And the upgrade from 4.0XX to 4.1 is very easy. To do the upgrade you will need a Bantam Backpack CD ROM drive, a NVM installation Boot Disk and the 4.1 application software CD. Booting the NAM with Backpack attached and CD software upgrades the system in about 30 minutes.

All of your programming will be retained when upgrading to 4.1 software.

Also, the Redirect Dn patch does not seem to be needed on NVM 4.1 software on MICS 6.0 KSU. The NVM 4.0 software on 6.0 MICS still needs to have the Redirect DN patch as it does on MICS 5.0 software. MRoberts
