MICS 3.0 upgrade 1

I have a MICS 3.0 and need to add the 2nd 6 port combo card. I can get the upgrade tool to go to 4.0 and the 6.1 software. After upgrading to 6.1, can I jump to the MICS XC 7.1 without any problems?

So long as your 6.1 s/w is XC you should be ok.

I don't have the MICS XC 6.1 and was just wondering if I could go from the 6.1 to XC 7.1?

You want to go to 4.1 then 6.1 then go 7.1 XC

Give it a shot, but in my experience, you've got to upgrade from XC to XC...

If not, you'll have to startup and reprogram.

You can do as I have posted going regular 6.0 to 7.1 XC but it's the reverse you cannot do such as 6.1 XC to 7.1

Thanks, curly. In this instance, I'm happy to stand corrected.

I always thought you had to do your upgrade level first, then put in your xc sw. I've always done it that way, and it's worked, but you'd know.
