Hi ..I am new user of MS SDK. I am working on creating Projects, Reports using SDK.

While creation of Project Source (seen at root in MS Desktop), I am unable to link it to particular ODBC. I have used DSSDATASourceEnumerator Class for creation of Project Source.

If somebody is working on SDK, please let me know so that I can ask more Questions.

Thanks

Unlike other products, the MicroStrategy Project Source does not require any linkages to ODBC, hence you don't have to distribute any ODBC related documentation, software with your application.

ODBC connections are maintained at the MicroStrategy Intelligence Server level. There you define ODBC connections for database instances.

In microstrategy desktop, the project source is a link to a connection of metadata. Once u have connected through it, u can create different projects which internally can be connected to different databases by creating an instance for each database connection. The project source can be created by just creating a DSN for the respective database and provided u have the respective ODBC driver installed.
