hi,

My coworker and I have been trying to figure this out -
we have a .doc file that has 24 pages and whenever we try to print it out to our color printer, it skips large sections (it will print pages 1-4, then page 12-14, etc).
Anyone know how to fix this?
It prints fine in the black and white but we need it in color.
I don't know why it's doing this - I tried to use check the 'hidden text' in the Options menu. It still didn't work.

Thanks in advance,
jen

If it prints fine on one printer and not on another; then the problem is the printer and not your document.

Most likely the culprit is one of two.

1 Either your print driver

or

2. How the printer is spooling the print job. Go to Control Panel, Printers and Faxes, right click on the Printer, select Properties and go to the Advanced tab. Under Spooling, select Start Printing Immediately if it's not already selected. If it is, try the other option. (The grey cells aren't co-operating). Most likely this will solve your problem.

If #2 doesn't help, you may have to download the latest driver for the printer and install it.
