My current setup is as follows:
DSL Modem ==> Linksys Switch ==> 6 Win XP and 1 2003 SBS

Previously, all of the computers connected directly into the Linksys switch, which was controlling DHCP. We recently installed a new server with Microsoft SBS 2003. After setting the server up as the DHCP server, we turned off DHCP on the linksys. At that point, DHCP stopped working entirely. The only way we could get machines access to the domain was to assign them static addresses, which we don't want to do. Does anyone know how to get DHCP on the server up and going?

what's the ipconfig /all looks like on the client side. alos we need more details on the DHCP configuration.

Have you authorized the dhcp on the server and activated the scope? (Silly question, but it's the small stuff that gets overlooked.) Good luck.
