Hi all guys out there!!!
I would really appreciate If anyone can give a piece of advice to the following problem.

For some reason that I can't work out I am having big trouble placing text on my Quark Document by using the Get text option.

I took a look from my xtension manager and there are a couple dreaded exclamation marks standing by
my MS-Word 6-8 filter and the MS-word filter.

When I click on it there is the following message:

Xtension software will not funcyion because the Microsoft Olebase Library library could not be found.

Yet I save the same Word doc file as "Text only" there is not problem.

Any ideas Guys!!!

Regards

To work with the MS-Word filter, you need the following files in the System Extension folder.

For the Power Macintosh, they are:

- Microsoft OLE Extension
- Microsoft OLE Library
- Microsoft OLE Automation
- Type Libraries Folder with Standard OLE Types (Power Macintosh) inside.

For the regular 68K Macintosh, they are:

- Microsoft OLE Extension
- Type Libraries Folder with Standard OLE Types inside.

They are on the QuarkXPress CD-ROM (4.0x)> Other files> OLE. If those are not found in the System Extension folder, you will receive that message and the MS-Word filter doesn't load properly.

Hope this information helps you out.
