when i try to open an excel document that is stored on the server i get the following message
microsoft Excel cannot access the file \\server\...\file.xls
there are several possible reasons
1) the file name or path does not exist
2) the you're trying to open is being used by another program. close the document in the other program, and try again
3) the name of the workbook you're trying to save is the same as the name of another document that is read-only.
try saving the workbook with a different name
i already verified these tree things, and they are wright, there are different users who have access to this document but when i have the document open there is nobody else in the document and still get the same message
i have modify right for the document and can open it, but when i change something i can't save it anymore
does anybody has any idea to solve the problem
