Does anybody know if the E-Learning's that Microsoft offers would prepare me enough for the MCSA certification? I was intrigued by this idea b/c it would allow me to go at my own pace and work on it on my own time, which would really help to fit around my work schedule. I know hands on experience is good as well, and I am getting some of that through work; I just wanted to be sure I wouldn't be better taking the classes at some tech school or if I could do it with the E-Learning. If anyone out there has used them, please let me know what you think.

I think it depends on your personal learning style. I took one of their free ones to check it out and I didn't like it. I found that it was very rigid and there was no way to modify the lessons being targeted.

I am doing their free ones. I would think their online courses are just like MOC.
If I want to pass an exam, I will go through the training kit and do lots of practice.

any comment welcome.

You brought up a good point Mshen. Noone should ever consider one source as the ultimate learning source. Even those that have the funds to attend Microsoft In-Person classroom training should find alternate sources to fill in the gaps. I usually take the stance of find what works good for you and do it. That makes it rough for the first test you take, but a little bit of worrying over a test is good for the soul. Or is that rock & roll that's good for the soul. Well, either way :)
