Our small restaurant has Micros e7 3.3, Workstation 5. We've been locked out of the configurator access on all users, including super user.
I've found a successful work around to access the configurator (by renaming the touchscreen files. When the system detects no touch screen set up, it brings you directly to the configurator).
This allowed me to change the menu items, etc. But when I was trying to access employees and their permissions to unlock the configurator access, I'm receiving an error e7.exe NullreferenceException (error message attached). Then systems forces to quit. And now it won't allow anyone to sign in. Clock in works, but not sign in. It shows employee's name in upper left corner after date and time, but doesn't allow to get in.
I don't care about the configurator access any more, as log as I can get to sign in into micros and start a table, process credit cards etc.
