Hi
My restaurant group is merging with a company that uses Micros 9700. I've never used it, only Aloha. One of the questions/ problems that our soon to be new partners have mentioned is that in Micros 9700 you can't enter in new prices and have them effective at a later date. I.E. I want to raise the price of wine in a c-store, and have it take place on Monday, to accomplish this I would have to enter the price after closing on Sunday to be effective on Monday morning.
I find that hard to believe. Could somebody please confirm this? If it isn't true, could you please give me a brief explanation of what the procedure is, or if it is possible/ necessary to write a simple VB program that would accomplish this for me.
Thanks and Cheers
