We are testing new hardware, and have installed a IDTECH MSR. We can use it as a keyboard wedge or an OPOS device. We are having issues with both in Micros 9700 SAR Client.
OPOS - Takes 7-10 seconds from swipe to login/auth.
Is there anything special that needs to be done to speed this up? In the OPOS test program, the card reads fast. It tests clean in the Micros Config Diagnostics
Keyboard - Reads the cards like it is supposed to, but the Micros on screen keyboard keys, do not work. I am able to login with a mag card, and can ring orders, but if i want to use a quantity key, open food or manual login, nothing happens. I have the Use Keyboard Mag Card checked in the Config, when i uncheck that, on screen keyboard funcionality comes back, but card reader stops working.
Anyone have any ideas, either solution will work for us.
