Good Afternoon,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me please, my question:

We are planning on setting up a 'Cash Only' refreshment summer house in one of our garden areas, there is a power outlet, but unfortunately no ethernet or wireless connectivity (at present).

If we were to use our existing mobile A\V trolley which has a WS4 LX installed in it and this till was booted into RES 4.9 'Standalone' mode to process sales, would the sales be lost when the power was switched off, or would they stay within the tills memory until it was wheeled back to the resort and booted on the interanl network where sales could then be uploaded?

Kind Regards
Jon

Yes we have used this setup as well. Just make sure you run your sale report before powering down the station so that you have a least the dollars amounts in case the memory get zapped (unlikely). Also when you connect the station to the LAN and reboot it, do NOT run CAL on it as it will delete all stored data.

Good luck

Hi FreeSoldier,

Thank-you for the info, I'll give it a go :)
