New to this forum, so I apologise if this question has been asked before. I couldn't find the answer but perhaps I overlooked it.
I am working with a Micros 3700 PoS system in a very large restaurant. We are experiencing some difficulties as our reception is out of line of sight of our bar where many people have drinks before dinner. I would like for our PoS system to print a ticket in our reception every time a check is transferred from one revenue centre to another.
Our system is set up in two different revenue centres; 'Bar' and 'Restaurant' and once guest are moved from one to the other a transfer of their check is made. This is when, ideally, a check would be printed in reception to say which check from the bar had been merged with which table in the restaurant.
We are currently using a smart key function to transfer checks both ways. This is working fine but I cannot seem to find a way to add a print function to this.
Any ideas?
