MiCollab v6 with voice upgrade

Hi all,

Anyone out there upgraded vMiCollab v6 with voice to MiBusiness Express 7.1 and encountered any problems.

I am reading up on all the mitel doco and looking for any tips, pitfalls before I start.

Did it two weeks ago and the only thing that was going too well is the certificate.
We had a problem with the interal part, external was fine.
Mitel support did some commands and fixed it.

The upgrade was pretty straight forward by deploying the OVA and let that deployment doing the job.

Deploying a new ova would be easy enough, at what point did you implement restoring the backup, via the VM console at start up or did you licence the
new platform first before restoring the back up?

Could you expand on the certificate issue please?

After deploying the OVA you can choose to restore from the current server including the licensing.
It will turn off the old server by itself. This is all automated.
The certificate issue was an error on the internal network while external was fine.
This was something Mitel did not see before.
You need to yikes the certificate and some other thing too (forgot the name)
Do a search here and you will find it.

Have done it only issue we had was with the licenses not being updated on the user accounts from ucc3 to ucc 4

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Bill66, i have seen that too but they work fine.
UCC4 shows 0 and UCC3 shows numbers.
