MiCC version 10.2.0.7
MiVB 10.3.0.16
Spinning up MiCC for first time here, and unable to get an agent's phone working with hotdesk.
When MiCC is synced with MiVB, the employee and associated agent is created with the user's extension number. They are automatically "voice" interaction enabled, and had been created as ACD agents on the MiVB side. I'm unable to create a phone association with the user's extension and the "hotdesk" option. I'm not sure but maybe this was the old/traditional way of doing hotdesk? I'm still a little confused on the traditional vs. newer way to do ACD hotdesk.
But when I log into the Ignite web client, I try to go to "available" and it allows me to enter an extension and password, and when I use the extension and password of the phone I'm currently using via hotdesk functionality (over MBG) it immediately kicks me out of the phone and I'm back to the *2#8801 (automatic DN) where I can log back into the phone... Using 6920 currently.
What the heck am I missing??
