Hi All,

I am going to a site which has a Rls3 MICB installed with 32 channels. They want to upgrade it to a ICB Rls4, and add an extra card to provide 62 Channels. I have received 2x ICB cards, 1x Dongle, and 1x keycode for the new dongle for the upgrade. If i look through the NTP's is says i require a keycode to upgrade the current MICB to an ICB, does anyone know what is actually required for this to work?? ie 2x ICB, 2x keycode etc..

Thanks for your time,

if the keycodes are correct, then you would only need to do the one upgrade, adding channels and software rls is written on the same keycodes. if you were upgrading the soft without adding channels then you would need a keycode for that, if channels were added later, then you would need another keycode for that

Hi John,

i am a little confused. In the NTPs for the Upgrade of Rls 3 to Rls 4, it explains that i will need to swap the old dongle and PCMCIA card to the new card, then upgrade to Rls 4 using the keycode. i havent been given a keycode to upgrade with the old dongle number on. The only keycode i have is for new dongle which is for the new ICB card to add the extra 32 channel capability.

Should i expect to be sent 2 keycodes from Nortel, 1 for each dongle?

Thanks,

sean.
