I inherited 4 Citrix servers when the previous admin left for greener pastures. Two of the servers are running Metaframe 1.8 in their own farm (WTSFarm) and the remaining two are Metaframe XP also in their own farm (W2KFarm). The XP servers are running in Interoperability (mixed) mode with the other 1.8 servers. The only reason I can think of that he set it up like this was to share licenses since all apps are published and used within their own separate farms.
We keep getting a "License Logon Limit" error when people try to connect to the W2KFarm that eventually goes away after several attempts and they are able to log on. Citrix says that this is because they are running in mixed mode. I want to get them out of mixed mode to fix this problem, but will this adversely affect anything in a production environment? (IE, will users suddenly find themselves disconnected from the farm?)
Thanks,
Steve
