Message Tracking Logs Submit 1

Hello I am running Exchange 07 SP1 on Server 08 x64 with 8GB of ram. My question is when I changed the location of message tracking log files to a different folder my server now only records SUBMIT entries when it used to record recieve, and others.

The Server holds the mailbox, hub transport, and other rules except for Edge Transport.

Is there a switch or setting I am not seeing?

I found the error, it was a permissions issue on the folder. The system account that the machine’s transport system (local network service) uses did not have the same access as the Mailbox subsystem (local system) uses, therefore where the mailbox subsystem was able to write to the logs, the transport system could not.

So by Giving MachineName\users modify access on the folder, the transport system was able to write to the logs.
