Hey guys,

just wondering if we could do this....

when someone leaves to go eat lunch.....can i set there phone up to say "out to lunch" if someone calls that extension

Yes

Absence messages - needs phone manager (and I think pro version too) to set and clear messages

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Sure can, look at "set absent text" in shortcode features :-)

No need for Phone Manager or VM Matt, shortcode above will do it :-)

very nice!!!

thanks guys!!!

great site!!!

Ok but with shortcodes you only get to use preset statuses and you have to set DND seperately.
With Pm you can set your own message and DND simultaneiously

But true - you don't need PM

(and thanks for the reminder)

The nicest way is to use vmpro with a menu.
You then can set the message and DND in one go.
