Hotel customer called, guests could not dial out, had them reset room status. Would not respond, checked COS, OK Had them reset VM module, but it will not reload. Reset system, still just spins- any suggestions?

take the tape out and boot the mail, the hd is bootable and unless it is corrupt.. if so they you'll either do a restore from a FULL backup or an install and restore from a partial.. if it's loading from tape drive, it can take hours

if the tape is broken, it may be spinning forever and not part of the problem, just a symptom of a power fail

Thanks. I'll head out there (1.5 hr away). I appreciate the response. I'm in remotely, and since the reboot, the PRI is bouncing up and down. "DCH: 4 RLS CTS DOWN", then re-establishes the D

The PRI keeps bouncing. LCON shows slips, but after a hard restart, the two (UNUSED) T-1 catds before the PRI card are back trying to get service. Will this cause timing issues? How do I disable the unused cards and make sure clocking is coming from the PRI?

if the cards are built in the cequ, then disl x in load 60 for a t, ld 60 ssck 0 to check the clock source, and trck pck to force the clock to track back to the pri/t1 entered in the ddb

looks like a clock card problem, you have a cc card on loop 1? ld 73 ddb is set to clock on one. have you tried forcing the clock to free run? that can stay up depending on the far end. if your clock is down, and the switch is trying to sync off of it, you'll grop before the trsh is met.. might go to 73 and increase your params on your error tables
