Hi. I am a newb so I really try to do one thing:
How do I get into programming of a Merlin Legend? All I need is to allow one more extension. Any help is appreciated

Not sure what you mean by programming an additional extention. All you have to do is plug it in - in the next available slot - and it will work. To get into programming you need a 20L Operator phone or WinSPM software plus connectors between a PC and your Legend processor Admin port. At the 20L, to get into programming - press menu, system program, and exit or start (depending on software version). Press "Home" to leave programming.

You might also want to get copies of documentation for your system to learn about what features exist and how the various features of your Legend operate, as well as how to program your Legend to take best advantage of these features.

The documentation is available for purchase as hardcopy manuals or for download as PDF files from Avaya.

Thanks guys. i have not tried anything yet i have been in the hostpital with my mom for the past few days.. ill check it out. thanks to all who replies.
