I have an Option 11c with Meridian Mail release 13. everyday the mail goes down and I cannot bring it back online without rebooting the whole system. The aml link cannot be brought back up manually.
unless your pretty good with the mail you may need a vendor, either a daughter board on the mail or the ssc on the opt 11 is fried.. not very likely a software issue
What are the symptoms?
Do the mail ports just get disabled?
Does the AML link just go down?
What errors do you get from the PABX history file?
What SEER messages do you get from Meridian Mail?
Does it occur during the midnight routines?
Make sure that your voice storage is not being exceeded?
Some of the above may start pointing you in the right direction to try and determine issue. As John stated above could be a Mail CPU or hard drive failing or could be the SSC? Hard to tell without more information though.
