Meridian Mail not responding to user key reponse. Auto attendant just keeps talking. Anybody know why? Anybody can help me fix?

Do you still have a VM number defined in VSDN table?
Does your set is CFW to dummy ACD, NCFW to ACD number defined in VM?
Try to call the VM number by yourself by dialing the ACD number.
Try to trace the call you have the problem with. LD 80 TRAC TN or ENTC TN HHMM then GOTR.
Give more details if unsuccessed...

make sure it's not a single port, ld 32 disu the port your talking to and dial back in to the next port.. in a card option, it could be a vp8 card. in an 11, that may change. if the vsdn was deleted the mail would answer. is this just on a menu service or the mail in general. you may be able to disu tone response in a menu, but there;s not a known way to turn that feature off in vsnd area, mailbox? answer prompt is not a prompt you can turn off..

does this happen all the time

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Here's some more detail. Performed a restore from backup because hard drive failed. For the most part everything seems to work. Can access voicemail internally, however, when I try to dial from OUTSIDE line that's when key commands aren't recognized.

oh and another problem. not able to record message to voicemail internally or externally.

appears auto attendant can't "hear" anything. internally I can access the voicemail system, however, can't leave a message in anybody's voicemail box because auto attendant doesn't appear to pickup my voice?

well folks, decided to perform a restart of system and lo and behold it's fixed now. if anybody has any ideas why it may have occured please post. thank you for taking the time to help.

i would have done a little more testing, not always an option when the system is down.. if it reoccurs test your dtr's, a problem there could cause that problem.. but it should block dtm did's at the same time
