Meridian Mail - delayed Messages

Our CEO has indicated on several occasions, he receives a new voicemail that was left a few days prior. He is the only person reporting this as an issue. Obviously he is upset, as he missed two important calls. Any thoughts on what I can check, troubleshoot, etc? Anything will help, thanks so much!
 
You can log into the Tools menu and run a trace on the mailbox. Unfortunately, it will only go back 2 days or so.

 
I had this reported before but it was hours not days. I rebuilt the mailbox and that seemed to correct it. Also if it was from internal someone could have put it on timed delivery but I'm not sure what time stamp you'd get on that, the time the message was made or the time the message was delivered
 
I would say user error. LOL Before you rebuild the box make sure that he isn't over the limit for messages. Our upper management tends to save everything and bind up the system.
 
The only response I've seen from Nortel is that it just doesn't happen. :)

However, there really isn't much you can do with mail when there's a problem other than reboot.
