Hi,

I have been downloading PDF files from the net for a while. Every now and then, I would like to cut parts of pages and paste them to make a new one. What Adobe product do I need? (or anything other than Adobes). I have tried copying to clipboard and merge into Word, Excel files and then print out to a PDF. But as I paste the clipboard to Word or Excel and print it to the printer, I found the image is out of scale. Keep the right size (or scale) is my main concern. Would anybody be kind enough to give me some hint. I know I might be in the wrong forum but I don't have the slightest idea where I should post my problem. Please at least tell me which forum I should go to.

Tks for your help.

Adobe Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader) is the "official" PDF creation program. However, there are a number of shareware & freeware options that can also make PDF documents. But you'll still have the same problem you're having now. You can't just "cut-n-paste" from one PDF to another becasue each document could potentially be in different formats. There really is no quick and easy solution to acomplish what you want to do.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!
