Merge fields

i need to generate a field that combines the text of two. Ex: first name (coumn 1)and last name (column 2)into one field (column 3) , whith a space between of course.

I tested this querey and it returns the expected results, the two fields with a space between.

select 'twofields'=brandname + ' ' + bbrand from brands where rec < 50
