Merge fields in header

We are trying to set up a catalog merge in Word 2000 from a SQl data source.. All works well apart from teh fact we are having problems getting the CLIENT filed to merge into the header.. We only want the CLIENT field to appear once on each sheet as each client merge may bring through upto 30 records so we only want it to appear once..

Does anyone have any pointers?
