I setup a long time ago a facility that provides a caller who enters a users voicemail to revert back to the operate by pressing 0, this is a SYSTEM VOICE MESSAGE.

On the lines of "The person at ext1234 is not avaiable to take your call please leave a message after the tone OR PRESS 0 FOR ASSISTANCE.

Now i'm not sure if there is a global setting to have this function for all DN's or you have to manually change the REVERT DN in the users Voicemail admin screen.

Hope someone can shed some light on this for me... i have a memory like a goldfish.

Cheers
Dave

No you can set a global revert number. I haven't worked a Meridian Mail in a little while, but someone here will be able to tell you where.

If you set a global revert DN, individual users will still be able to set specific reverts if they wish to change.

Bump.... getting desparate for this.
please help

sorry.

This is actually called the Attendant DN. It is in the General Options screen. You can leave this blank, but it is not recommended. It is to serve as a backup to the subscribers revert DN, if they choose not to have one.

sorry for the delay.

John

in each mail box and menu there is also a revert dn.. in mail you can dial 8 0 after logging in, the next digits will be the revert for that box
