mer mail backup status

Does anyone know what the mmail screen displays if the scheduled backup fails? I know it displays :scheduled backup started when it starts and: scheduled backup complete when it has completed but what does it say when it fails? Does it simply say scheduled backup failed?

Depends on failure type...if bad tape..tells you to replace tape..if tape drive bad..refers to SEER message as why drive failed.

what you'll see is bckup failed reason 23, etc.. those reason codes are in the seer manual
