Just a quickie (I hope!)

I know you can disable some of the menu options for a database (using Tools/Startup), but I want to find out if it's possible to disable others - specifically "Insert New Record".

I want the only way to create a new record to be through the way I lay it out in the Main Menu Form.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any guidance anyone can lend.
Cheers :)

Open a form in Input mode. Click on View - Toolbars - Customize. Then click on Insert on the menu bar on the main window. Hold down your mouse on Insert Record and drag it off the menu. Let go and it's gone. Close Customize. Insert Record is now gone from the Insert menu.

Excellent! Thank you.
I'm having a bit of a play round with this to see just what else I can do with the menus, but this was the main problem.

Thanks again!
