Is there a way that we can set menus to personal settings for the end user?

Also, on menus is there a possibility that we can keep the menu open without closing after we select an item on the menu until we choose a cancel option on the menu to close the menu?

I'm not sure I understood your question. Do you want menu options to set personal settings for the user or do you want menus to be customized for each individual user? BlackburnKL

Yes. Menu options set for each individual user. Sorry I should have been more clear.

Set up a Menu and Make Visible those items that you want depending on the user who logged in. And make the others invisible or disabled.

You can also do it with more than just the menus. You can make other controls invisible, disabled, or enabled, depending on the user. BlackburnKL

How could I set it up for certain users? Most users need those menu options. But some of them want them in a different order than the original. How would I do it???

Those components just generate Menu items. I really do not need components on creating menus. I can do that myself. I was just curious if there is a way that a menu could be setup per users preference.

I don't know how involved your menu is but:

Here is what you can do set up all your Menu Items those that are to be interchanged with each other will have the same "Name" and just add an Index value for each then make them visible and invisible based on index, further you can change the caption name, thereby giving the "impression that menu items are in different order, and obviously you will need to keep track of what name is at what index. Then in order to customize it by user you need some sort of a lookup scheme (i.e database) or ini file or whatever you decide and that should work for you.

Oh ok. I have an idea on how to try this. Thanks for the different choices and examples.
