memo field size limit 1

Is it possible to limit the number of charaters in a memo field.

Hi logopolis,

You can set a validation rule for the field, say ..

[blue][tt]Len([YourMemoField])<1000[/tt][/blue]

.. to limit it to a maximum of 999 characters.

Either. But if you set it in the Table's Field Properties, any Form based on it will inherit the rule.
