Memo field only printing 1 character

I have a memo field that I have added to the report. When I print the report, only the first character of the memo field appears. I have tried different formatting including the grow option and nothing seems to work. I have also verified there is more than one character filed to the database. I am using version 8.5.0.217.

Thanks in advance for any help.
