I have two w2k servers, each running AD and both have differnt domain names. I'm configureing trusts between the two so I can run ADMT.

On the one I went to the admin buit-in and added the admin from the other domain as a member, no problem. But when I went to the other domain to add the admin from the other domain, I got this error when attempting to browse the accounts of the other domain.

"Can't display objects from this locations b/c of the following error: The logon attempt failed"

It didn't even prompt me to logon! Could an incorrect logon nave been cached? How can I refresh it? I'm unable to create a trust without the admin of each domain be a member on the other domain....

Thanks in advance,
Charles

Camy2079,

Are both of your domains in Native mode?

Just a thought,

One is mixed and one is native....

According to the active directory migration tool, only the target domains needs to be native, which it is.

Interesting....

Thanks
