Media shows Overwritable, even after use 1

Hi, we are running backupexec 9.1 and the weird thing is that the all the media shows in BLUE even after having been written. I have set an overwrite protection of Five weeks but it doesn't seem to be effective.

goto tools - option - media management
If it set to none that is why.
