Media Pools / GFS Rotation

Hi All,

I'm looking for some assistance with a SAN arcserve setup we have. Currently we have a number of servers and we are using the Arcserve VLDB setup on individual servers.

We had previously setup a while ago the GFS rotation on various servers and assigned media pools. For some reason, I cannot find any tapes in the Save or Scratch sets any longer. Nothing is listed in them. As well, we cannot seem to assign any media to either set on any server.

I'm very new to the SAN configuration of Arcserve and the GFS / Media Pool setup.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have never worked with a SAN setup but it should not be so much different from a NT one
If you open you _DLY media pool and high light scratch or the save set you should be able to click on the "assign" button(you can also find it under the media menu in the menubar).

If it doesn't work maybe you can give us some more information.
