Couldn't find a forum suitable for this so as I'm using Win 2000 I'll post it here.
Looking for some help as I can't sort this one out. I've recently installed wireless ADSL router and connected my desktop by cable to one of the ports. Now I can't get Media player to work.
I'm trying to play a video file from
and get the message below, Needless to say I'm connected to the internet
Windows Media Player cannot play this file. Connect to the Internet or insert the removable media on which the file is located, and then try to play the file again.
If I go to
I get the following error
Windows Media Player cannot play any items in this playlist. For additional information, right-click an item that cannot be played, and then click Error Details.
So obviously something is wrong with setup for Media Player but I can't see what.
Anybody any ideas?
