Media Player starting by itself !!!

Hello.....

When I boot up my computer, it displays 2 dialog boxes that say " Windows\system32\cmd.exe " and then they disappear and Windows MediaPlayer starts playing. Anyone know why ? Any help appreciated.............

Download and run this excellent freeware alternative to MSCONFIG:

http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/autoruns.shtml

Now look at the entries. Somewhere there is at least one reference to a startup program file that ends in either .BAT or .CMD

Disable them.
