Is there anyway to hide the RIP tap from MP10 ...!

I am running XP SP2 on my clients and Win2k3 server, ideally I would like to make this change via group policy because I have 100 clients

Can't you force a policy down that puts Media Player into "Small" mode, then they can't access the RIP options?

Can you forward me more info on "Small" Mode .. to be honest I have never used Media Player in small mode

Can you do anything with this, or any other options?

User Configuration\Windows Components\Windows Media Player\User Interface\Set and lock skin.

Description:
Enables Windows Media Player to be shown only in skin mode, using a specified skin...... (read on).

Mini Player toolbar.

The mini Player enables you to perform basic playback functions even if the Player is minimized. When you have enabled mini Player mode and you minimize the Player, the playback controls appear in the Windows taskbar.

"To switch between display modes" is a Windows Media Player, help article.

Wont do because when I put in a CD a dialoge box pops up asking me what I want to do - Rip,Open, Save etc ...

Any more ideas !!!
