A customer purchased a TN2302AP HV3 and claims its compatible with w CM 2.1 . The Board is a "lucent board" made in 01 according to the SN. How would we find out the right board to use the vendor is sending another board to my client but I think he is going to send the same type of board which will be the same result. Yes I have tried to add it manually in change circuits but it still sees no board.

I have a HV3 in a CM2.2 and an R10 so I am sure it's fine in the CM2.1. There is a minimum FW vintage that you need to upgrade to or you will get a minor alarm.

I have a R12 would that make a difference?

cool, but its not even reckognizing the board, my thing is I just don't want to have it be the same problem with another board, but if you say its not a problem I'll believe.

You probably have a bad board. I have many HW3 as well as HW20 Medpros. In CM2.0, 2.1 and 2.2's. They work fine. I would replace the board.

Thank You for all your responses I'll let you know what happens tomorrow when the replacement board get here

I've just placed a few of the HW3's in a CM3.0 w/o problems. You just have to upgrade to the latest and greatest firmware.
