Easy question ...

Does anyone know where can I find companies looking for mech. engineers with access programming experience.

I have been developing (huge) ACCESS database for a powerplant and know I have an almost complete product. The problem is I have no idea whatsoever about what can I do with this knowledge, how many door might open for me know with this combination of knowledge. Is there any ACCESS fair traveling around US at the moment where I can see where ACCESS programming might take me and what could I do ??

Thanks,
The mechanical designer with aCCEsS programming experience

Access-only development jobs are not very widespread. I read a thread on comp.databases.ms-access where they recommend that you promote yourself as a "database solutions" developer instead of Access-only, but of course, that's when applying for a database design job in general. For your case, with an additional mechanical engineering background, I'd assume that ... well, you know what happens when people ASSUME.

There are a bunch of threads on the job market itself, and you can at the least grab a bunch of anecdotal data on Access jobs in general. The newsgroup is populated mostly by (bored) Access-only consultants and full-time database developers, so know that the job market they're in is not necessarily your job market.
