What kind of database is a .mdw and how is it created? I want an outside user to be able to open a copy of a database. This outside user does not work for the company so they do not have a logon id and password. Our .mdw file is located on our network which this outside user is not on and is not allowed on. So, basically I need some way for this user to be able to get into this database without asking for a logon. Please help!!

Thanks.

Um, if the database is on a secure on a secure network that the outside person can't access, well, they can't access it.

Maybe I don't understand what you're asking, but it appears you want to know how to let someone access your database when they can't access the network...where the database is at.

That is basically what I'm trying to do. All this outside user needs is to see the tables, queries, forms, etc. created in this database. The user doesn't need to see the data. I tried logging on to his own network and importing tables over but it still wouldn't allow me too.

Thank You.
