.MDE Printer Setup, any Solutions?

I have a database which is being used by many different users with diferent printers and systems. I wish to deploy the database only in .MDE form.

.MDE format CAN NOT SAVE printer setup options. (you can change the options on a per use basis only, but the settings can not be saved...wake up Microsoft)

Is there any way to enable a user of the .MDE format to option of changing the printer setup options and page setup options, AND SAVING THEM?

This is a huge problemm as I have had many users ask for simple label printing capability. The only way I can make this happen is to deploy in .MBD format.

Are there any solutions to this problem?
