I have a seagate 4.3 gid ide hd. Just installed it with a new mb. The fd was from a working machine. I checked the cables, power, etc.<br>

The new mb doesn't automatically recognize the fd.<br>
<br>
I get no error code that drive c cannot be found, etc.<br>
<br>
The new AMD cpu works and registers on boot up correctly.<br>
<br>
Memory registers as 16mb when I have installed 128 mb.<br>
<br>
The memory works in another p/c. The fd works in another p/c.<br>
<br>
What am I missing?
