I have been unsuccessfully trying to find this out....
Could someone please tell me if there is a maximum 'workable' file size for an Access DB. Also, it will be used by 4 users over a 10/100 network.

Many thanks.

You have problems when you approach a gigabyte of data. I reashed that with about 1.2 million lines of data.

Access 97 has a file size limit of 1 gigabyte. I think Access 2000 goes up to 4 gig, but I'm not sure. It's easy to get around the limits, anyway. All you have to do is split the data tables up into separate databases, and link them to your front end. That works pretty well, from my experience.

In any case, I think you're better off if you keep it to about half that size. You may have problems if you get too close to the limit.
