When users open my database I would like them to get a Maximized Access Window.
Is that possible? How?

For certain forms within the database I will then use the DoCmd.Maximize on the Open Event.

Thank you

What I do is create a shortcut to the database on the desktop and in the properties, shortcut tab, I set Run at Maximized. I'm running Windows 2000 so I'm not sure if that works for your OS.

The properties of the Shortcut you use to open the database can be set to do this.

Right-Click on the shortcut, select Properties. In the Dialog box, set the Run option to Maximised. The database will open as maximised.

If you open Access through the Windows Start Menu, you can also set the Menu Shortcut for Access in the same way.

That is exactly what I wanted.
Thank you very much [rockband]

You have provided the answer yourself!!!!!

simply put the codes DoCmd.Maximize in "load" event of a form and then whenever one will open that form it will open in maximize view.

Try using the following in all you Apps Startup Form's "On Activate" event. Will guarantee they always open maximized.

DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdAppMaximize 'maximizes application window
DoCmd.Maximize 'maxizes form window
