Hi,

I have a form displaying a staff members profile. On that form I have a button which opens a second form. I would like the second form to open up in restore mode while the first form remains open in the background and in maximise mode.

When I open the second form it opens as maximise (as the first form is maximised), then when I change it to restore both forms change to restore. I want the first form to stay maximised in the background.

Any ideas on how I can do this? I also tried to use the pop up property however I need data to populate in the second form which it doesn't in pop up mode.

Thanks
Chris

Change the second form's borderstyle = Dialog

I have tried this and it doesn't work as I need data to populate in the second form which it won't if the border style is Dialog.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks
Chris

How are ya chrismerry . . .

. . . and if you set the forms [blue]PopUp[/blue] property to [blue]Yes[/blue]?

Something seems to have worked, I have played around with the Dialog border and the pop-up and modal properties. It is working now with a Thin border and both pop-up and modal set to yes.

Thanks for your help.

Chris
