I am finding contradictory data on the max RAM for the Packard Bell 850:

128 MB

256 MB

Anyone know which is correct?
BTW, I was not able to run 256 MB, only 128.
The BIOS is the latest, the AMD K6/2-333 works fine with the BIOS.

Howdy:

According to crucial.com, you max out at 32 megs per slot OR 128megs total..

Even one of your 256meg urls only allows for 32meg chips (4x32=128)..

comtec17, I am using Windows 98 on that machine, but with 64 Meg chips (even with one or two of them) the machine fails right on POST.
